The diverter in my tub/shower will always leak a steady stream of water out of the tub faucet while showering.  I've taken it apart and it looks like, at a minimum, the o-ring needs to be replaced, but I would ideally like to just replace the whole diverter stem.  I've been to HD, Rona, a local plumbing supply store, and all over the Internet and no one has yet to be able to identify it.

The faucets are Mueller, and all of the cover plates (including the one on the diverter) also say Mueller.  I have previously replaced a faucet stem with Mueller (Moen) OEM part #91286 with success, but the mueller diverters that I can find (usually OEM #91406, but all of the ones I have seen) look nothing like what I have.

I posted a picture in the Tub & Shower Gallery.

Aside from just tearing everything out and replacing, does anyone have any clue as to what this diverter might be, and if so, where I could possibly find one?  Thank you.

Hey, I've looked through my old Mueller books and found some part numbers but there is no replacement parts to be had these days i'm afraid. You could try sending Moen a picture and asking them if they have a replacement cartridge.

Thanks - I've sent Moen an e-mail so we'll see what I get back.

Even though the tile around the tub/shower is in good condition, it's just as dated as the faucets (~50s-60s), so whether or not I can find a replacement part I'll likely rip out the tile and replace the whole system sometime in the next couple of years.  It would just be nice to be able to save a bit of water in the interim.  Thanks again.
